Come Tuesday, this nation will see it's first-ever African-American president sworn into office as the 44th Pres of the US. Hooray! Cheers to THAT! Yes, there's lots of good cheer floating around these days, even in spite of the economic land mines we're all sidestepping on what seems like a daily basis (props if you still have your job, but take heart if you don't: the economic stimulus package is Obama's #1 priority post inauguration). And what better way to mark Tuesday's landmark occasion than with a glass of vino? When President-Elect Barack Obama takes office next Tuesday, he'll take the reigns of our nation in the midst of one of the most tenuous economic and political climates we've seen in more than a half-century. Among other tall orders, he'll be tasked with shepherding an historic financial bailout, reconsidering our position in Iraq and resuscitating our flagging reputation on the international foreign policy scene. It's a lot to get ready for, and we're happy to hear he's preparing for the challenge the way any serious new president would:
