Sacre Bleu Breaks Through Wine Marketing Clutter
filed under: Winning Wines

SB_CVM_flyer2.jpgIt may sound obvious to put a girl in blue jeans in an ad for wine (like, helLO, this is an advertisement for youths, duh), and therefore not that interesting, but for some reason it works. Sacre Bleu's frankly young-looking model, along with product placement at the hip Miami music venue The Fillmore, support of charitable organization Rock the Cause and funny winemaking videos from French Gustave (it's always nice to have a Frenchie in the mix), put the brand at the top of the wine-marketing-to-Millennials heap. Haven't tasted the wine yet, but seeing as it's coming from France's promising Languedoc, my bet is it's not half bad.

Courtney, just saw this post and as life would have it, I have a VERY hot debate going on right now on my blog about this very brand and their promotions. I would absolutely love it if you would toss your two cents into the ring if you get a moment!!! It's the article titled, "You'll come running back, you'll come running back to me..." Thanks!

The reason Galen's marketing works is becuase he believes in what he is doing. Many marketing campaigns to Mellinials appear disingenuous.

Galen truly wants to promote a socially aware brand that focuses on what is predominant in the culture of young people and the young at heart.

Galen is truly one of the few people I do business with that I could text message lyrics by The Who or The Killers with at 2:00 AM.

Viva Sacre Bleu! Or Galen and all his friends!
