FACT: San Franciscans spend more on books and booze (love that combo) than any other city in the nation according a federal survey released in 2003 (as reported by SFGate). Along those lines, I saw this fab plate on a car outside a restaurant on Hyde where I was dining Saturday night. I'm sorry to say that I forgot to note the make and model of the ride boasting such a cool plate - I was, after all, drinking myself. However, if the owner of said cool ride should see this - please identify yourself. A lot of people will think you rock (and that you may be extremely well read to boot). Cheers.

Hey, that's our car!

Alright, we are a little behind in our reading, but what a surprise to see our license plate on your blog. We are the proud owners of the "drink mobile", our beloved orange Element that lives on Hyde Street. We own a Cocktail Catering company called drink. (www.drinksf.com), hence the plates. We do get stopped a lot getting in and out of the car by folks asking if we have a drink on us for them - what a great way to meet the neighbors! So far, we haven't been pulled over because of it. Thanks for the mention!
